권리세 (Eng: Kwon Rise) is a sub vocalist of LADIES' CODE.
Biography[]
She was born in Fukushima, Japan, on August 16th, 1991. She was a third-generation Korean-Japanese. She has an older sister named Riae and an older brother named Junki.[2][3] At age 15, she moved to Korea to follow her dream of becoming a singer. However, she returned to Japan the following year when her father passed away, almost giving up on her passion.[4][5] She eventually returned to Korea and worked toward her dream.
She passed away on September 7th, 2014, as a result of the group's car accident.

She attended Fukushima Chōsen Elementary/Middle School, Kent Foreign High School, and Seikei University, where she majored in Economics and Business Administration.[6] According to her Miss Korea Hanooki profile, she also attended Idyllwild Arts Academy for dance.[7]

Pre-debut[]
In 2009, she participated in the Miss Korea contest as a representative of Japan, and won the Korean Abroad Award as Miss Japan.[8] Her sister Riae, a model, had participated in 2007 and received the same award.
Rise auditioned for MBC's Star Audition The Great Birth in Japan in 2010. She passed, earning a ticket to do the show in Korea in 2011. She finished in the top 12. Two of Rise's songs from the show were officially released; "Hey Hey Hey" and "Like A Virgin". Soon after, she because a trainee at KeyEast Entertainment.[9] Rise later appeared in the third season of MBC’s We Got Married from episodes 11—24, alongside David Oh.[10] Their first episode premiered June 18th, 2011.
Post-debut[]
On October 25th, 2013, Rise was featured in the music video for Kanto's song "What You Want", featuring Kim Sunggyu (INFINITE).

Trivia[]
- Rise was fluent in Korean and Japanese.[11]
- Rise shared a dorm room with EunB and Ashley.[12]
- When she first came to Korea to become a kpop singer, she was trained by Kim Mirae (Liz), a vocal instructor at Baekseok University, who she became very close with. Mirae was the one who encouraged her to audition for Star Audition and come back to Korea after her father's passing.[13][14]
- Her mother's name is Choo Seongri.[15]
- David Oh admitted that he had a crush on Rise, but he wasn't her type. They remained friends but lost contact when she debuted in LADIES' CODE and didn't have a cell phone.[16]
